Originally trained as a carpenter and builder, Bob’s also been a livestock agent, worked on farms, and developed a wide range of practical skills working with timber, iron and steel. He’s worked on projects big and small, from the fix-it guy on farms to project managing large steel construction projects.

Now his passion is designing and creating all kinds of iron crafts at Art n’ Iron for people across Canterbury and beyond.

From garden sculptures, archways and braziers to fencing panels and gates, and supporting beams and structures for outdoor rooms, Bob’s practical knowledge and design flair means he can turn his hand to all kinds of iron craft projects.

Bob enjoys working with landscape garden designers to create just the right iron craft centrepiece for clients’ gardens.
